This is a Celtic knot-work double hunter pocket watch with a chrome and pewter finish presented to you by the superb Woodford. The outer case has a Celtic knot-work pattern in a stylish black and silver colouring and the watch opens out to reveal the skeletal dial allowing you to see the inner workings of the watch through a viewing window in the centre and this is surrounded with a white dial with black roman numerals and black hands. It comes complete with a matching Albert T-bar chain that you attach to the winder for safe wearing whilst it benefits from a mechanical movement. The watch can be engraved on the back of the case if you want to make this a special gift for someone to celebrate an occasion and it will arrive to you beautifully packaged in a branded presentation box and with a full manufacturers guarantee peace of mind.
OPERATING
Setting The Time
To set the time, gently pull the crown all the way out and move the hands in either direction. Once you have set the correct time, push the crown home again. The watch should now run at the correct time.
Opening A Double Hunter Pocket Watch
To open a double hunter case, press the button on top of the winder gently to open the front case. Press the button further to open both the front and back cases.
To close a double hunter watch, depress the winder, it is important that you don't "snap" the case-lid shut, doing this will wear out the latch.
Winding Mechanical Watches
We recommend that you wind your watch at about the same time every day, preferably in the morning. Turn the crown clockwise gently and steadily and stop when you feel resistance. Excessively forceful winding could damage the movement.
Typically, mechanical watches have an accuracy +/- 60 seconds within a 24-hour period. This is due to temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and altitude affecting the movement. For this reason, you should reset the time daily when winding the watch.
