This beautiful gold plated full hunter mechanical patterned pocket watch is proudly presented by the fabulous Woodford. The watch has a stunning pattern on the outer case surrounding a shield that you can have engraved with somebody's initials if you want to make this a special gift to celebrate any occasion. The watch opens to reveal the skeleton design showing the intricate inner workings and stunning craftsmanship that has gone into this fabulous watch and these are complimented by a surrounding white outer circle that has black roman numeral markings along with black hands and a second pointer. The winder is located at the 3 o'clock position and we will provide a matching belt bar chain to securely attach to it for safe carrying. The case diameter is 49 mm along with a case depth of 13 mm and the watch is suitable for engraving on the shields on the front and back of the case. Comes complete with a one-year manufacturers guarantee along with branded packaging.
OPERATING
Setting The Time
To set the time, gently pull the crown all the way out and move the hands in either direction. Once you have set the correct time, push the crown home again. The watch should now run at the correct time.
Opening A Hunter Pocket Watch
To open a full hunter case, press the button on top of the winder. To close a full hunter watch, depress the winder, it is important that you don't "snap" the case-lid shut, doing this will wear out the latch.
Winding Mechanical Watches
We recommend that you wind your watch at about the same time every day, preferably in the morning. Turn the crown clockwise gently and steadily and stop when you feel resistance. Excessively forceful winding could damage the movement.
Typically, mechanical watches have an accuracy +/- 60 seconds within a 24-hour period. This is due to temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and altitude affecting the movement. For this reason, you should reset the time daily when winding the watch.
