This stunning full hunter pocket watch is proudly presented by Woodford. The watch has a highly polished chrome plated finish and can be engraved on the front and back of the case should you want to make this a beautiful gift for somebody you love. The watch dial is silver and white with complimentary black hands and the outer features black roman numeral markings. The winder is located at the 3 o'clock position and we will provide a matching belt bar chain that will securely attach to it for safe carrying. The watch will arrive beautifully packaged in a branded presentation box and will be fully guaranteed for one year.
OPERATING
Setting The Time
To set the time, gently pull the crown all the way out and move the hands in either direction. Once you have set the correct time, push the crown home again. The watch should now run at the correct time.
Opening A Hunter Pocket Watch
To open a full hunter case, press the button on top of the winder. To close a full hunter watch, depress the winder, it is important that you don't "snap" the case-lid shut, doing this will wear out the latch.
Winding Mechanical Watches
We recommend that you wind your watch at about the same time every day, preferably in the morning. Turn the crown clockwise gently and steadily and stop when you feel resistance. Excessively forceful winding could damage the movement.
Typically, mechanical watches have an accuracy +/- 60 seconds within a 24-hour period. This is due to temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and altitude affecting the movement. For this reason, you should reset the time daily when winding the watch.
